Prerequisites

  • A modern web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge
  • Ability to allow network access on your practitioner devices to Kismet web services
  • Epic UserWeb access for system administration

Timelines

Kismet is a cloud-based application with very minimal set up inside of Epic. Timelines vary based on the needs of your integration, but expect anywhere from 2-4 weeks to go through the entire process and have your practitioners start using Kismet.

Step 1: Find Kismet on Epic

The first step to getting set up is requesting a Client ID through https://showroom.epic.com. We'll see your request and reach out to guide you through the integration process.

Step 2: Execute Contracts with Kismet

The Kismet team will reach out to your organization to review all the necessary contracts to go live with our platform.

Step 3: Organization Set Up

Please review our onboarding doc to review a detailed guide of how we'll set up your organization inside Kismet. Once your organization is provisioned, we can start the integration process to allow your practitioners to launch the Kismet app directly from inside of Epic.

Step 4: Epic Integration Set up and Test

After your organization is provisioned on our platform, we'll activate a Non-Production environment with your team to test out the integration and ensure that your providers can access Kismet from inside your Epic install.

Step 5: Go Live!

Once we thoroughly tested our integration, the Kismet team will activate your app license for Production use.
